Depression is often referred to as a mood disorder because it primarily
impacts on the person’s mood and feelings. It occurs in children,
adolescents, adults, and senior citizens. This means anyone at any age
can experience depression. Depression is one of the most common mental
health conditions today.
Depression is different from just feeling sad or ‘low’. Though best
diagnosed by a mental health practitioner, it is important to know and
